To all the Human Tanks living in this world...
This story takes place in a place vaguely reminiscent of modern-day Japan. In
the twenty years since the first Human Tank was developed, the war raging
between the Empire of Japon and the Kingdom of Japon has turned into a proxy
war fought between Human Tanks on both sides.
The Empire of Japon once ruled the entire land of Japon. Now diminished and
cornered, the Empire prepares to make its last stand as the tanks of the
Kingdom of Japon draw close to its capital. Shoutaro Daihon'ei, Lieutenant of
the Imperial Army moves out to the battlefield, followed closely by the loyal
Human Tanks in his company.

Shoutaro Daihon'ei
Protagonist of the game. Even though he used to be a leading figure during
the Empire's prime, he's now become as lame as the country he once stood
for.
Shoutaro passes his days lazing about at home and watching anime. He's
usually very lazy, but gives it all when it comes to the most stupid
things.

Chiyoko Daihon'ei
Shoutaro's younger sister. Loves Human Tanks better than anything else.
Chiyoko's in charge of assembling and developing Human Tanks.
She has blind faith in that her brother watches anime to come up with new
combat tactics. Nickname: Choko.
Unit: Imperial 4th Armored Corps, Engineering Team Leader

Liselotte Satou
Shoutaro's staff officer, sent to his unit from the HQ along with a sealed
commission for him.
As one of the latest graduates from the Military Academy, Liselotte has no
practical experience in actual warfare. Back at the Academy she was
elite.
She treats Shoutaro harshly because she can't figure out why she's been
assigned to his derelict Corps.

A Human Tank that Choko is particularly fond of.
She acts like the leader before the other tanks in Shoutaro's Corps,
despite being timid and getting easily freaked out.

Rank: Human Tanks don't deserve a rank.

Imperial Army Officers
High-ranked officials who order Shoutaro's unit about and harass them.
Their minds are full of plots and schemes that go nowhere; that's the
privilege granted by their high ranks.
Kurara Iikura
One of the commanders in the Royal Army. Full Colonel. She acts and talks
like a textbook tsundere, and persistently keeps challenging Shoutaro.
Just can't learn a lesson.
